In 2018, George and Bethany Van Winkle launched Hexagon Signs and Wraps after Bethany’s 17 years with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Their desire was to support their son Sam, a wonderful child with special needs. Starting their own business provided the opportunity to work for themselves and give more attention to Sam. The vision for the business was clear: to be a local, professional source for branding and brand implementation to small businesses or large companies. With over 25 years of experience in the design and signage industry in and around Atlanta, Hexagon Signs and Wraps carries a reputation of skill and genuine care for the client’s success. Why Hexagon?
We’re often asked, “Why Hexagon for a name?” The hexagonal shape holds special significance across many industries and nature itself.
It’s found in the design of the classic No. 2 pencil, known for its easy grip and ability to turn smoothly in the hand. In engineering, hexagons are used in nuts and bolts because their six sides distribute force evenly, making them reliable for both professionals and DIYers. Nature also values the hexagon—bees use it to build hives, creating strong, efficient structures that store honey and nurture life.
